Mono is a town on paper and countryside in practice — large rural lots either side of the Niagara Escarpment, long private laneways, and very few places you would happily leave a car all day. That is most of the argument for a mobile detailer up here. A flat $99 travel and fuel fee applies, the same as Orangeville next door, and it is collected with your deposit at booking rather than raised on the day.
Where We Set Up on a Mono Property
This is the only question that is actually different here, so it goes first. We bring everything except water and power: what we need is an outdoor tap and a working electrical outlet within roughly 75 feet of wherever the vehicle is parked. On a Mono property that is worth a moment's thought — if the car normally sits at the top of a long laneway, beside a detached garage or in an outbuilding away from the house, 75 feet of hose and cord may not cover it.
The fix is almost always simply parking the vehicle near the house for the morning. Tell us the layout when you book and we will confirm whether it works before we set off, rather than discovering it at the top of your laneway. And if the surface itself is the problem — loose gravel, a slope, no flat spot — say so, because that is worth knowing in advance too.
What Gravel and Winter Sand Do to Paint
A vehicle that lives on unpaved concessions and a heavily sanded Highway 10 takes a particular kind of abuse. Grit gets dragged across the paint every time the car is wiped down or run through an automatic wash, and the result is a fine web of swirls that dulls the finish under direct sun. Stone chips on the lower panels are separate and largely unavoidable. The distinction matters because the two need completely different work, and only one of them is fixable.
If the paint is dull rather than marked, this is the honest answer and the cheaper one.

Boats, RVs and Trailers
Boat detailing is performed on land only, on the trailer or on blocks — never docked and never in the water — from $300 for the interior or the exterior, $550 for both, with correction and ceramic coating from $1,599, quoted on size and condition. RV detailing is exterior only and priced by the foot with a 20-foot minimum: $26/ft Express, $38/ft Executive, $80/ft Signature and $190/ft for professional ceramic coating. Will you come up a long private laneway?
Yes, provided there is somewhere to park and work at the end of it. The real constraint is not the laneway but the 75 feet: we need an outdoor tap and a working outlet within about that distance of the vehicle, so describe the layout when you book.
How much is mobile detailing in Mono?
Express packages are $159 exterior, $199 interior and $299 full. Executive packages are $249, $399 and $499. The Ultimate Package is $899. A flat $99 travel and fuel fee applies to every Mono booking, plus HST on the total.
My car is covered in swirl marks from gravel and winter sand. Can that be fixed?
Usually yes — swirls are in the clear coat and paint correction removes them, from $1,199 for a 1-step. Stone chips on the lower panels are a separate problem and are not correctable. We will tell you which one you actually have.
Is the travel fee higher than Orangeville because Mono is more rural?
No. Mono is the same flat $99 travel and fuel fee as Orangeville and Shelburne. It is charged once per visit and collected with your deposit at booking.
What if there is no outdoor tap where the vehicle is parked?
Then we move the vehicle, not the plan — parking it near the house for the morning is the usual answer. Headlight restoration is the one service that needs neither water nor power and can be done wherever the vehicle sits.
