Brantford is one of the longest runs on our map: from North York the 403 carries us through Hamilton and on past Ancaster to reach it. The city sits in one of the furthest travel bands we publish — the band our map labels Niagara / Erie, shared with our Niagara towns — even though it lies west of Hamilton. One flat travel and fuel fee covers the visit — the booking form prices it from your address, shows it before you pay, and collects it with the deposit.
Your Brantford Driveway Becomes the Work Bay
No bay to find, no waiting room, no key drop. You give us an address — an older house in Eagle Place, a newer two-storey off Shellard Lane, a home north of the 403 — and we work right beside the vehicle while you get on with your day.
To be plain about the distance: the travel and fuel fee is the same whether your car takes two hours or a full day, so the trip pays off best with a full detail, a correction, a coating, or two vehicles in one visit. A lone exterior can still be booked; it just carries the whole fee by itself.
Brantford Streets We Work, Old Wards to New Edges
We cover all of Brantford, and each part of it parks its cars a little differently.
Downtown, Brant Avenue and Dufferin. Brant Avenue, from St. Paul Avenue to Colborne Street West, is a heritage conservation district; most of its larger houses went up in the 1870s and 1880s, when the plow and mower works were booming. Dufferin Avenue and Lorne Crescent hold some of the city’s largest homes, from the late 1800s and early 1900s. None of it was laid out around a two-car driveway, so tell us where the car will sit and where the outdoor tap is.
Eagle Place. On the south bank, the Grand wraps around three sides of Eagle Place, with Greenwich Street along most of its northern edge. Erie Avenue, through its heart, was being built up as early as the 1800s, and its older blocks form a tight grid.
Holmedale. Holmedale lends its name to the city’s water supply: the Grand is drawn through the Holmedale Canal to the treatment plant on Grand River Avenue.
West Brant and Shellard. Across the river to the southwest, West Brant gives way to Shellard, the newer suburban streets laid out along Shellard Lane. Where there is a driveway, the setup is simple.
East Ward and Echo Place. Echo Place was a community of its own, incorporated in 1865 east of Brantford and joined to the city in 1955. Colborne Street East runs through it.
The north end. North of the 403, King George Road and Wayne Gretzky Parkway are the main routes, Lynden Park Mall sits on Lynden Road, and Fairview Drive and Powerline Road cross east to west.
North Brantford and Tutela Heights. In 2017 the city took in 2,720 hectares from the County of Brant — between Powerline and Governors roads, east of Garden Avenue, and along Mount Pleasant Road up to Tutela Heights, home of the Bell Homestead. Much of that land is still rural, so measure from the tap to the car before booking.
Brier Park, Greenbrier, Grandwoodlands, Myrtleville Mayfair, Hillier Heights, Cedarland, Pleasant Ridge, Prince Charles, Branlyn, Westdale and Spring Garden are covered too, every one priced from your address on the booking form.
How a Brantford Booking Adds Up
The form adds the package, the Brantford travel and fuel fee, any add-ons and HST, and shows one figure before you pay. A deposit holds the date and comes off that figure rather than sitting on top of it: a flat amount on Express, Executive and The Ultimate, half the job on paint correction, ceramic coating, boat and RV work. The travel and fuel fee is collected with it.
The balance is paid on the day once the work is finished. Cash, Interac e-Transfer and debit add nothing; credit cards add 2.4%. A second vehicle in the same visit earns a discount the form applies on screen. Terms are on our payment policy page.
What You Can Book for a Brantford Visit
Choose Express or Executive for the outside, the inside or the whole vehicle — those are the six core packages — or step up to The Ultimate Package or Ultimate + Paint Polish & Buff. These four suit a trip this long:
Executive Full Detail
Express Full Detail
The Ultimate Package
Ultimate + Paint Polish & Buff
The services page lists what each one includes, and the auto detailing page shows how a detail runs from start to finish. For company vehicles, see fleet services.
Correction and Coating for Salt Seasons and Hot Summers
Brantford’s snow usually runs from November into April, and July afternoons average about 27 degrees. A car commuting on the 403 toward Hamilton gets salt spray half the year and hard sun the other half, plus fine swirls from every automatic wash. Correction takes those marks out of the clear coat; a ceramic coating then leaves the paint slicker, so winter grime rinses off instead of biting in.
Brings depth back to paint that is dull but not damaged.
One cut-and-finish pass for a daily driver’s wash marks; the stages are on the paint correction page.
Compound, then polish, for defects one pass leaves behind.
Every tier opens with an Executive Exterior plus a 1-step correction and polish, so the coating covers corrected paint.
For a car with several more Ontario winters ahead of it.
The longest-rated tier; the ceramic coating page compares all three.
Bigger vehicles carry a size surcharge on correction and coating, added on the booking form before payment.
Boats on Trailers, RVs and Motorcycles
If your boat summers on Lake Erie or a cottage lake and winters on a trailer in Brantford, we detail it on that trailer or up on blocks — never docked or in the water, on the Grand or anywhere else. Boats are quoted on size and condition, inside, outside or both; washrooms, kitchenettes and cabins are not included.
RVs are exterior only, priced by the foot with a 20-foot minimum, and book online.
A full outside wash for a rig that is dirty rather than faded.
A deeper exterior clean, finished with protection.
Machine polishing to cut back oxidation and chalky gelcoat, then protection over it.
The polished finish sealed under a professional coating.
Motorcycles are quoted individually. Headlight restoration books directly on the form for one light, both, or all of them.
What Has to Be Ready at a Brantford Address
Two things must be on site: an outdoor tap with running water and a working outlet, each reachable within roughly 75 feet of the parked vehicle. You confirm both when booking. Headlight restoration, being sanding and polishing, needs neither.
We also need room to open every door and walk a polisher around the car. A typical suburban driveway is usually fine. At a heritage house on Brant Avenue or Dufferin, a second car may need to move to the street first. On a rural lot in Tutela Heights or North Brantford, check that the tap and outlet really reach the vehicle; in a condo, clear the spot with the building beforehand.
Brantford Detailing Questions
Is Brantford part of your Niagara service area?
No. Brantford is west of Hamilton on the 403, not in Niagara. It shares the far travel band our map labels Niagara / Erie with our Niagara towns, and its travel and fuel fee is priced from your address.
Is the travel and fuel fee charged for each vehicle?
No, once per visit. A second vehicle in the same appointment adds no second fee, and the form shows its discount.
Do you come out to Tutela Heights and the newer land north of Powerline Road?
Yes. Those areas joined the city in 2017 and book like any Brantford address, as long as a tap and outlet sit within about 75 feet of the vehicle.
Can you detail a car at an older house downtown with no driveway?
Often, if the vehicle can sit legally and safely for the length of the job with a tap and outlet in reach. Describe the parking when you book.
Which jobs make the most sense for the drive to Brantford?
The fuller ones — a full detail, The Ultimate, paint correction, a ceramic coating, or two vehicles together. The fee is flat, so a bigger job gets more from it.
Does a ceramic coating include paint correction?
Yes. All three tiers begin with an Executive Exterior and a 1-step paint correction and polish. Larger vehicles carry a size surcharge, shown before payment.
What days and hours can I book?
Seven days a week, 8am to 8pm. Open slots show on the booking form.
