Mobile Car Detailing in St. Catharines

Detailing in your own driveway across the Garden City — from the Port Dalhousie waterfront and the canal end of Port Weller to Merritton, Glenridge and the foot of the escarpment below Brock.

St. Catharines is one of the longest drives on our map: from North York, the QEW runs around the western end of Lake Ontario, past Hamilton and Grimsby, before it reaches the Garden City. A flat travel and fuel fee covers that run — charged once per visit, priced from your address on the booking form before you pay, and collected with your deposit, so nothing new appears at the curb.

Detailing at Your Door in the Garden City

There is no shop in Niagara and no drop-off. We come to wherever the vehicle already sits — a North End driveway, a west-end townhouse pad, or your workplace lot if the property manager agrees — with the pressure washer, extractor, polishers and products. The car never leaves the address.

Because the trip is long, a visit makes most sense with a fuller job — a full detail, a correction, a coating, or two vehicles back to back — since each spreads the one travel and fuel fee across more work. A second vehicle in the same visit also gets a discount, shown on the booking form. That is arithmetic, not a requirement.

Where in St. Catharines We Set Up

We work the whole city, lakeshore to escarpment, and from Fifteen Mile Creek — its western edge since 1970, when eastern Louth Township joined — to the far side of the Welland Canal. Where we come to, and what parking there tends to look like:

We cover all six wards: Merritton, St. Andrew’s, St. George’s, St. Patrick’s, Port Dalhousie and Grantham, which keeps the name of the old township.

How the Price Comes Together

The booking form adds the package, the travel and fuel fee for your address, any add-ons and HST, and shows one total before you commit. A deposit holds the date and comes off the total — a flat amount on Express, Executive and The Ultimate, 50% on paint correction, ceramic coating, boat and RV work — with the travel and fuel fee collected alongside it. The balance is settled on the day, once the work is finished. Cash, Interac e-Transfer and debit cost nothing extra; credit cards carry 2.4%. Full terms are on the payment policy page.

What each one includes is on the services page; how we carry out a detail is on the auto detailing page. Several work vehicles in one St. Catharines yard? Fleet services are arranged separately.

What Niagara Roads and Trees Do to Paint

Winter salt and brine off the QEW and Highway 406 coat the lower panels for months. The Garden City’s parks and mature street trees drop sap and pollen on cars parked beneath them, and near the lakeshore and the Port Dalhousie harbour, gull droppings can etch a clear coat on a hot afternoon. Correction takes out the marring and lighter etching a wash cannot; a coating slows their return.

Machine Polish

Brings the depth back to paint that has gone dull without being damaged.

1-Step Paint Correction

One machine stage for the lighter swirls and wash marring a daily driver collects.

2-Step Paint Correction

A compound stage for deeper defects, then a polish. How the stages differ.

Ceramic Coating — 3 Year

The entry tier, for a car staying with you through a few more Niagara winters.

Ceramic Coating — 5 Year

A longer-lived layer for a car that runs the QEW in every season.

Ceramic Coating — 8 Year

The most durable tier we apply. Compare all three.

Every coating tier begins with an Executive Exterior and a 1-step paint correction and polish, so no swirls get sealed in. Larger vehicles carry a size surcharge on correction and coating, shown before you pay.

Boats, RVs and Motorcycles

With Lake Ontario along the whole north shore and a harbour and marina at Port Dalhousie, plenty of boats here spend the off-season on a trailer, and that is when we can work on them: on land only, on the trailer or up on blocks, never docked or in the water. Interior, exterior or both are quoted on size and condition; washrooms, kitchenettes and cabins are not included.

RVs are exterior only — no RV interiors — priced by the foot with a 20-foot minimum and booked online in four tiers:

RV Express Exterior

Roof, sides, both caps, wheels and trim washed and dried, measured by the foot.

RV Executive Detail & Protect

Adds decontamination and protection on the paint and gelcoat.

RV Signature Polish & Protect

Machine polishing for gelcoat gone chalky or faded, then protection over it.

RV Professional Ceramic Coating

Our longest-lasting RV protection, laid over a corrected finish.

Motorcycles are quoted one at a time. Headlight restoration books online for one light, a pair or every light on the vehicle, and because it is sanding and polishing it needs neither water nor power.

Before We Arrive: Water, Power and Room

We bring everything but the utilities: an outside tap and a live outlet our hose and cord can reach from the parked vehicle, roughly 75 feet at most, both confirmed when you book. Headlight restoration is the exception. We also need room to open the doors and walk a polisher around the car. Worth noting at booking: a condo or townhouse visitor spot under board rules, a shared driveway on an older downtown or Merritton street, a student house near Brock with other cars to keep clear, or a boat trailer behind the garage — all better known before the van has driven the length of the QEW.

St. Catharines Detailing FAQ

Is St. Catharines too far for you to come?

No. It sits inside our published service area, but it is one of the longest runs we make from North York, so a flat travel and fuel fee applies, and a fuller job or two vehicles in one visit gets you more for the trip.

How is the travel and fuel fee worked out?

The booking form prices it from the address you type in. It is one flat charge for the visit, it does not rise if the job runs long or you add a second car, and it is collected with your deposit.

Do you come to Port Dalhousie, Merritton and the North End?

Yes, along with Port Weller, Glenridge and the west end off Martindale Road. All are part of St. Catharines, and the form prices each from your address.

What should I have ready on the day?

A working outside tap and an outlet our hose and cord can reach, about 75 feet from the car, plus room to open the doors and move around it. You confirm both while booking. Headlight restoration needs neither.

Can you detail my boat while it is in the harbour?

No. Boats are detailed on land only, on a trailer or on blocks, so it has to be hauled out first. Then we quote the interior, the exterior or both on its size and condition.

Is a ceramic coating worth it on a car that drives the QEW daily?

For a car you plan to keep, often yes. Every tier starts with an Executive Exterior and a 1-step correction and polish, and coated paint gives salt, sap and droppings far less to grip.
