Orillia is one of the longest runs we make: up the 400 from North York, past Barrie and onto Highway 11. So every Orillia booking carries a flat travel and fuel fee, set by the zone your address falls in rather than by the length of the job. It is charged once per visit, collected with your deposit, and shown on the booking form before anything is paid.
Your Driveway Is the Workshop
We have no shop, no bay and no drop-off counter. The van comes to the address you book, the setup goes down beside the vehicle, and the work is done where the car already lives — which, in a lake town, leaves your summer Saturday for the water.
Because the drive is long, an Orillia visit makes the most sense with a real amount of work at the end of it: a full detail, a correction, a coating, or two vehicles in one appointment. A second vehicle added to the booking is discounted, and the form shows the reduction before you pay. A single quick exterior can still be booked; it is just the least efficient use of the trip, and we would rather say so up front.
Where We Work Across Orillia
The travel and fuel fee is the same in every part of the city. What changes is the property we pull up to.
North Ward. The established streets north of downtown, running toward Lake Couchiching and the Couchiching Golf & Country Club, hold many of Orillia's century homes, often on larger lots under mature trees. Those trees drop sap and pollen all summer, so parking clear of the canopy the night before gives the exterior a better start.
South Ward. Near downtown, Kitchener Park and the Lake Simcoe shore, this is one of the more affordable established parts of town. Driveways range from roomy to one car wide; a narrow one is usually fine, but if the car lives on the street, mention it when you book.
Downtown and the waterfront. Around Mississaga Street and West Street, and down toward Couchiching Beach Park and the Port of Orillia, apartments and condos are more common. A visitor or assigned spot can work if the building agrees and a tap and outlet are in reach, so ask property management first.
West Ward and West Ridge. The West Ward mixes older houses with homes from the early 2000s. West Ridge, west of Highway 11 between Highway 12 and Old Barrie Road, near Lakehead University's campus and Costco, is where the city's newest homes are going up, and a newer build usually has an outdoor tap and outlet on the wall nearest the driveway.
Couchiching Point and Victoria Point. Couchiching Point is a single-road peninsula on Lake Couchiching beside J.B. Tudhope Memorial Park; Victoria Point is on the Lake Simcoe side, at the north end of that lake. Where a lakefront lot has a long private drive there is room to work, and a boat already up on its trailer can be done in the same visit as the cars. Grape Island, a short boat ride off Victoria Point, is inside the city limits but has no road to it, so the van cannot get there.
How the Orillia Total Is Built
For a package, there is no phone quote to wait for. The booking form adds the package, the travel and fuel fee for your address, any add-ons and HST, and shows one figure before you commit.
A deposit holds the date and forms part of that figure, not an extra on top: a fixed sum on Express, Executive and Ultimate packages, and half the job on paint correction, ceramic coating, boat and RV work. The travel and fuel fee is taken at the same moment, and the remainder is settled the same day when the work is complete. Cash, Interac e-Transfer and debit cost nothing extra; a credit card adds 2.4%. The payment policy covers the rest, cancellations included.
Packages You Can Book in Orillia
Six core packages in two tiers, Express and Executive, each as an exterior, an interior or a full detail, with The Ultimate Package and Ultimate + Paint Polish & Buff above them.

The Ultimate Package
Ultimate + Paint Polish & Buff
For a drive this long, the full details and the Ultimate packages are where the trip earns its keep. Inclusions are listed on the services page, the auto detailing page shows how the work is done, and several work vehicles are covered under fleet services.
Correction and Coating for Snowbelt Paint
Orillia sits in the snowbelt east of Georgian Bay, where lake-effect squalls hit far harder than in the GTA. Months of brined, sanded roads, then a spring wash with a gritty mitt, leave fine swirls behind. Correction machines those defects out of the clear coat; a ceramic coating then gives the finish a slick layer that salt film and pollen struggle to grip, so it keeps washing clean in the winters that follow.
For paint that has lost its gloss without being scratched.
One machine stage for light swirls and wash marring; see the paint correction page.
Compounding for the deeper defects, then polishing to refine what is left.
Each tier begins with an Executive Exterior and a 1-step correction and polish, so swirls are not sealed in beneath the coating.
For a vehicle you mean to keep through several more snowbelt winters.
The longest-lived tier; compare all three on the ceramic coating page.
On a larger vehicle, correction and coating carry a size surcharge, which the booking form works out before payment.
Boats, RVs and Motorcycles on the Trent-Severn
Orillia is a stop on the Trent-Severn Waterway, and many boats in town spend the season tied up. We only work on one once it is out of the water, on its trailer in your driveway or on blocks in the yard — never in a slip at the Port of Orillia or tied up at your dock. Boats are quoted on size and condition, inside, outside or both, leaving out washrooms, kitchenettes and cabins. Before launch and after haul-out are the natural times.
Highway 11 carries the trailers and motorhomes north into cottage country. RV work is exterior only, priced per foot with nothing billed under 20 feet, and books online:
An outside clean that takes the highway and campground off the rig.
A deeper exterior detail finished with protection.
Machine polishing for faded, chalky paint and gelcoat, then protection.
The longest-lasting protection on the list.
Motorcycles are quoted one bike at a time. Headlight restoration books online for one light, a pair or every light, and being sanding and polishing, it works wherever the vehicle sits.
What Your Orillia Address Needs to Have
Two things before we arrive: an outside tap and a live electrical outlet, each no more than roughly 75 feet from where the vehicle will be parked, confirmed while you book. After that, room to open every door and walk a polisher around the car.
A newer West Ridge driveway is usually straightforward. Worth flagging: a downtown condo spot, which needs the building's permission; a long lakefront drive where the outlet is at the house and the car is down by the water, so park it closer; and a seasonal property with the outdoor tap shut off for winter. Headlight restoration needs neither water nor power.
Orillia Detailing FAQ
Do you really come all the way up to Orillia?
Yes. Orillia is in our Georgian Bay travel band, among the furthest areas we publish. We work 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, and the booking form shows which dates are open.
How is the travel and fuel fee for Orillia worked out?
From the address you enter. It is one flat amount per visit, not per vehicle or per hour, taken with the deposit and shown on screen before you pay.
Can you detail my boat at the dock or at the Port of Orillia?
No. Boats are only worked on out of the water, on a trailer or on blocks. Once it is hauled out and at your address, we can do the inside, the outside or both, quoted on size and condition.
Can you do my RV before it heads north on Highway 11?
Yes, the exterior only — RV interiors are not offered. It is priced by the foot with a 20-foot minimum, in four tiers booked online.
Do I have to supply water and electricity?
Yes: an outdoor tap and a working outlet within about 75 feet of the parked vehicle, confirmed when booking. Headlight restoration is the exception.
Do you cover Couchiching Point, Victoria Point and West Ridge?
Yes, every part of the city at the same travel and fuel fee. The exception is Grape Island: it is inside the city, but with no road out to it, the van cannot get there.
